Paw by Paw is Coming
March 21, 2025Playtesting Paw by Paw
Over the past few weeks, more and more people have joined us as we have had the opportunity to introduce Paw by Paw to many play-testers and content creators around the world. Some of them were even able to visit our offices and try the game live at our tables. Thank you is not enough to express our gratitude for their feedback!
In the same way that we enjoyed hearing how much fun the play-testers had playing Paw by Paw, we welcome their suggestions and thoughts about weaknesses and not-so-fun things they noticed. We have said this many times before, but it really is the basic structure of creating a great game. Listen to the play-testers. And that's what we did, and we got some amazing feedback. Rules, mechanics, art, iconography, and a bunch of other simple things were reworked according to the suggestions and feelings of the players. After all, games are made for players, so it is impossible for us to think that we are making a game without listening to them.
Christina and Nektarios, although not board game experts, managed to understand and play the game in under 30' and found it really interesting and fun. CJ, a board game enthusiast and playtester poet as I like to call him, gave us a lot of helpful and meaningful advice on how to better explain the rules, especially in parts that were not so clear. Cheery and Sarah helped us a lot to not only improve the game, but also to expand it. Their feedback for more simplicity and easier gameplay gave us one or two ideas. And so many others I cannot name who shared their thoughts. We couldn't have done it without you.
If you haven't checked it out yet, the upcoming Paw by Paw page is now live and you can follow the project to get an extra free map. Also, if you want to become a playtester but don't know how, here's your chance. Contact us and join the team, you could be the next to test our upcoming games and share your ideas and feedback with us!
