Restart is a tactical, engine-building game in which you travel back in time to save humanity from its impending dystopia. To win, you must complete missions and side missions, engage with the dystopia and collect adrenaline crystals. However, rival time travelers from parallel futures will also try to change the past for their own benefit. Do you have what it takes to save your future?

Each player is given a board representing their mind, a hand of cards representing unique events and a supply of time tokens and adrenaline crystals. Their adventure lasts three eras—the past, present, and future—during which they move their adult and child figures to complete missions and retrieve fragments of their mind lost due to the side effects of time travel.

On their turn, each player activates one of their four mind abilities.

PERCEPTION: Complete missions on the spacetime grid by spending time.

INTELLIGENCE: Acquire new missions by interacting with the dystopia.

MEMORY: Gain resources.

FOCUS: Upgrade actions by playing cards on the mind board.

Restart features four unique dystopias that are played individually. Each dystopia has distinct mechanics while maintaining the same core system, offering variety and replayability.
