2nd Athens Tabletop Part 1 – The Riddle
April 29, 20252nd Athens Tabletop Part 1 - Feedback
We have said it many times, but it is never said enough. Talking to all of you who share our common passion for board games and coming together is one of the greatest things. Athens Tabletop has once again made this possible, and we are so happy to have heard so many of your thoughts and feedback.
During the weekend of the convention, the Paw by Paw campaign was live (still live with a few days left if you'd like to support it) and we were really happy to hear that even kids found the game intriguing and engaging. Although it seemed quite difficult at the beginning, after a few rounds, children of 10-12 years old easily got the hang of the game and started playing without any help. And they didn't want to stop. Some of them almost missed a tournament because they wanted to finish the sixteenth round and get their total score. Thank you all for your support and positive feedback.
But as much as we love the good feedback, nothing is more important to us than the honest feedback. The harsh judgment of those of you who found bugs or things you didn't like in our games. Because that's what makes a game better. Some of you have this great ability to notice even the smallest things that might not click and give us suggestions and possible solutions. Did we have this kind of feedback in Athens Tabletop? Oh yes, we did! And would like to thank those brave ones who give it.
As you may have read, we are carefully refining Restart and at the moment we are very close to having a new version of the game ready. We presented this new version of Restart at Athens Tabletop and many of the visitors had a chance to try it out and give us their opinions about it. Although most of the feedback was amazing, we tried to filter our ears and hear only the negative things about it. And there were some. The first thing we did back in our offices the day after the convention was to start tweaking those little details to see if we could make Restart even better. There is not much to share at the moment, but we will keep you updated on the progress of Restart.
Athens Tabletop thank you very much for these two great days that allowed us to meet, talk and play together. Until next time, keep boargaming everyone!
