The creation of Salt Road has finally come to an end, and what a wonderful journey it has been! Much like the historic trail that inspired it, this project has been a path we’ve travelled together with many amazing people. Along the way, we’ve shared ideas, exchanged stories, learned new things, and made new friends who helped us bring this game to life.

A development we certainly didn’t expect… Restart is getting a new name. Last month, we were contacted by a company informing us that they had registered the name “Restart” and asking us to change the name of our game. This came as quite a surprise to us. We had announced the name Restart long before, including as part of our crowdfunding campaign, and we honestly never expected that we would need to register such a general word ourselves. The Municipality of Ioannina’s picnic by the lake was a wonderful opportunity to come together, enjoy the outdoors, and, of course, play! We were delighted to be invited by Ms. Elena Sionti to take part in this special event and bring a little bit of the Teetotum spirit to the lakeside. We would like to warmly thank her for the invitation, her trust, and the wonderful collaboration.

One of the most rewarding parts of creating games is seeing an idea come to life in someone else’s hands. This is exactly the experience Teetotum had at LUDO while guiding a group of young people through their own game design journey. It was wonderful to see them take their first ideas and, with a little guidance and encouragement, turn them into something tangible and playable.
