Are you familiar with the Greek New Year tradition of Vasilopita? Despite the fact that the beginning of the year is busy with work and preparation for our two upcoming games, we managed to gather in our offices and celebrate the new year. It was a small break that we all needed. First, here are a few facts about the vasilopita tradition. Vasilopita is a cake pie made in honor of Saint Basil.

Essen Spiel has ended for another year, but unfortunately, we weren't able to attend. You see, our time machine malfunctioned, so we had to stay back in time to fix it. Seriously, though, due to personal matters involving babies and family, none of us could leave home this year. That made us really sad, but our friends managed to ease our sadness in the best way possible.

Last weekend, YamoChori invited us to participate in a forum about creating a new game based on the Road of Salt, an old mountain road that had been lost for years but was reopened by this team of young environmentalists. We thought it was a great idea, so we went as Teetotum because we always support this kind of action.

Last Saturday, we had the chance to take our game to new heights—literally. The wonderful folks from High Mountains invited us to the Mountain School in Demati Village, where we could play and have fun. But let's start from the beginning. We accepted the Mountain School of Demati's amazing invitation and organized a board gaming session with all our games.
